001 [Video | Action for Route 29]
[The feed opens up to Riza, but the view is unsteady. She’s frowning at the devise, unaware that she’s broadcasting. The technology she’s used to isn’t exactly up to par with the kind she has to deal with now. A Pidgey can be seen on her shoulder, though the view quickly changes to show the ground. Riza’s walking somewhere.]
I guess there’s no point in trying to call anyone. Not if everyone’s like the rest of the people in that town.
[She huffs in frustration and continues walking. The Pidgey chirps a bit, but for a while, everything’s pretty uneventful. At least, until Riza comes to a large clump of tall grass. She sudden;y stops as she meets up with a mean little Rattata. She tries to walk around it, but it keeps stepping in front of her. She reaches to where she would normally keep a pistol on her, but grabs nothing. That’s right, they’re gone…]
Do you want to get hurt?
[Riza tries to step over it, but the purple rat just jumps up and grabs on to her leg and sinks its teeth into her leg. Riza cries out and reaches down to grab its tail to throw it off of her. Meanwhile, her Pidgey flies off her shoulder and confronts the Rattata.]
Damnit! [Riza had read the pamphlets, but the whole thing seemed more than a little cruel to her. Still, her bird seemed ready to fight that thing of its own free will…
Riza brings the Pokégear back up, still unaware of the recording as she tries to find that thing where it listed names of attacks.]
Use Sand-attack!
[The Pidgey obeys, though it can’t be seen on the screen. It’s focused on Riza’s face, though everything can still be heard.]
Now tackle it. Good job!
[It isn’t long until Riza lets out an exasperated sigh and the Pidgey returns triumphant. As Riza takes a seat, she sets the Pokégear on the ground where it shows Riza’s bleeding leg. She digs in her bag to find an extra shirt which she rips to bandage herself up. The Pidgey is on the ground next to her looking a little concerned.]
Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine.
[She strokes the Pidgy’s head and it nuzzles her back.]
You’ll be needing a name, won’t you? How about Kittyhawk?
[A happy chirp. The Pidgey’s just happy that she’s getting a name.]
Kittyhawk it is then.
[Riza’s able to get up and she picks up the Pokégear, now realizing that a little light is on. Kittyhawk returns to her perch on Riza’s shoulder.]
What’s this-
[The feed cuts as Riza hits a button.]

[Riza looks a little relieved at first, then skeptical.]
I'm relieved to hear that there are people who can actually be of some help. What do you mean by coming from other worlds? Do you know what's going on and how I got here?
video;
[John smiles before launching into a somewhat animated explanation. Kid talks with his hands, apparently.]
I'm afraid I don't know that though, no. None of us have been able to figure out how or why we got here. Or if somebody has, they haven't shared that information with me yet. But the long and the short of it is: there is some kind of force in this world that has the ability to pull people out of there own worlds and bring them here instead. While it isn't a permanent thing, we have no control over when we leave just like how we have no control over being brought here.
video;
[Riza still looks skeptical. It all sounds rather ridiculous, but then, it was ridiculous to wake up in a strange room and meet a strange woman who claims to be her mother.]
How have you determined that people here were brought from other worlds? I don't mean to dismiss anything you've said, but you have to admit that it sounds rather outrageous.
video;
To answer your question though, it's actually pretty easy to determine once you start talking to other people. Other people who haven't live here all their lives, I mean. But once you start talking to people, you realize that it just isn't possible for all of us to have come from the same world. For instance, there are people here who technically aren't human! But for whatever reason, this world changes them when they arrive. But beyond aliens and dragons or whatever those people might happen to be, there are also people who come from different iterations of the same planet.
For instance, I am from Earth! But after talking to some people who are also from Earth, I have come to determine that we cannot possibly come from the same planet. Because there are events that happened in world that did not happen in theirs or vice versa. Make sense?

Though uh, I can't really say I know but about it. Just that you guys don't celebrate a lot of the same holidays as we do.

I see. It would be unusual for many people not to know about Amestris considering the conflicts along our boarders with numerous other countries. Could you tell me what country you're from?
video; know much about it* wtf self......... how do you even
I am from America, originally. Washington state, to be specific.
video; /patpat
I've never heard of it. [A sigh. She still doesn't want to believe that any of this is real.]
Thanks for the info.
video; my fingers are super dumb
No problem though. I would be happy to help with any other questions you might have as well.
video; s'ok. My brain tends to rebel against me at times.
